Weatherman needs to have a look outside.. BEAUTIFUL sunny skies and cool.. Should be a great day on the Yegua So sad we could of been camping and fishing but we listened to the weatherman  Y'all have fun and be safe.

It was a drag... What started out as a bright sunny December Saturday turned to a cold, cloudy, windy yak dragging fishing feat of endurance for four men and a little boy..

TPWD was conducting a hunt on the trailway this weekend and will have 3 more in both park units.
The Park will restrict access to the public on the following dates in order to conduct wildlife management activities.
-Lake Somerville Trailway will close from Friday December 13 at 5 p.m., until 8 a.m. on Monday December 16
-Lake Somerville Trailway will close from Friday January 3, 2014 at 5 p.m., until 8 a.m. on Monday January 6.
-Birch Creek Unit will close from Monday January 6, 2014 at 5 p.m., until 2 p.m. on Thursday January 9.
-Lake Somerville Trailway will close from Monday January 13, 2014 at 5 p.m., until 8 a.m. on Friday January 17.
