Hello ya'll,

This is my last day fishing on Lady Bird Lake. It has been amazing for fishing 3 days on this lake, lots of actions and caught lots of fish: including Carp and Catfish. Most importantly, I have three amazing get away days, and I have spent it wisely (hahahaha).

Today, we did not catch as many fish as yesterday. However, the fishes today seem bigger than the one we have caught yesterday, and of course fought better... I really enjoy it. Here is the full report.

We started early, around 8:30AM we put 4 lines in the water. About 15 mins later, got the first one.

Then about 5 mins later, got another one

Seems like carps are most active early in the morning, we caught one after another, did not have to wait long at all. Around 9:00, there is a good run, and of course there was a beautiful fish. It looks like a common but also looks like a Koi, a ghostie... Anyway, it's a beauty....

Around 10:00, got me another run... and another common

I enjoyed kissing the fishes before return them back to where they should belong. All seem happy after I kissed goodbye.

What happened next, another common on the net. This is a big one though.

By the way, I mentioned the net, and you want to see how it looks like? I caught another fish, and took a picture of it while it's still in the net

Then we caught another one

And another ...

By noon, seem slow before landing another fatty

and a kiss goodbye as usual.

It getting slow for awhile, at the same time, my friend Mr. C.g caught him a bass, and I gave it a kiss.... I kissed too many fishes today, Oh my God.

However, kisses sure bring me luck... This time, I landed a biggest fish of the day... and she is beautiful.... I said hello to her, took some photos then kissed goodbye

The next fish is smaller, but it gave me hard time to get him in, he fought and fought.... By the way, I have mentioned the net, and thought you might want to know how I landed those fish. These photos were taken by a person passing by, and it show the action when I landed the fish.

It got very slow around 2:30 to 3:30. I caught one last one before 4:00 PM, then head home after that....

I really enjoyed my time fishing on Lady Bird Lake. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to see some of you, maybe another time?

Thank you for reading my post, please leave your comments below. I wish someday we will able to fish together.

Until then....

Very nice way to spend 3 days. Great reports. Gotta think that that was a Koi. Very nice looking fish for sure.

Awesome!! That is definitely the most brilliantly colored ghostie i've ever seen, it may even be a koi. Very nice job!

Nice fish. I guess I'm not familiar with that part of LB Lake. What park were you in?

It is at the boat roam, underneath the I-35 bridge... Actually, it's next to the Holiday Inn
