Chambers could be an interesting for the champ, very over looked lake.

Guys, I killed my phone today so if any of you need to get in touch with me before I can get a new one from work, e-mail me. We tried to mix in the smaller lakes with the larger lakes while staying relatively close to home during the heat of the summer. Overall, I think the schedule will help grow the club again this year. Come check us out.

We need to abolish the stupid rule, If a lake is on the schedule it can't be on the list for Championship Lake....

Fairfield is dead. Texoma made it to back up status for next season so unless Lavon gets some water, it will be on the schedule. Most folks like fishing a lake we didn't fish for the championship. Ragan's, Palestine Resort, Oak Grove next year. All good times and all a result of club vote. Jack, find a back seat while Bob is out and come fishing.

the big P will be m-f.. clinicals will be on the weekends and school already says I get 3 excused absences per semester I just need to find time to get about 25 brushpiles in CHambers before summertime. :)gotta give em a good soak time

This year we averaged close to 25 boats. I'd really like to see somewhere between 25 and 30 boats in 2014 for each of these events with a really big turnout for the Open so stay tuned to announcements at the beginning of the year.

I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving. Tony and I fished for 3 hours yesterday and got skunked!

I was surprised by how far the water temps have fallen already. I was seeing 48 to 52 along both sides of 30 at RH yesterday - 48 on the North side, 52 South. Does that sound right? Seems like in the time since I was last on the lake, it got cooler in a hurry. I still wanted to fish like it was warmer and my results showed.

I'm looking forward to Winnsboro. You've gotta love those East Texas lakes.

LOL!! I had a couple lucky days by myself, then a couple good partners for the other two wasn't entirely by myself, that's for sure. that's very hard to do against these guys. there's some really great sticks in this club

And Merry Christmas to you RedRanger Hope all is well, and you and Bob get back with the club this year once Bob heals up

I was more excited about fishing with Climer on this last one, than the actual tournament itself. You can learn a LOT by fishing with people tons better than you. Doug also expanded my cranking knowledge from just cast and wind, to understanding a little more about what's going on under water.
I didn't learn how to fish a jig by just going out and throwing it... I learned from one of the best around over the course of about 24 years of watching my stepfather spank my arse on it! LOL!

I just kept the net close when Ronnie said, "there she is", I netted her!

I def learned a lot from Ronnie,he taught me how to break down unfamiliar water prefishing and how to learn to trust your instincts and don't do what others are doing, fish your strengths. Both of us are so ADD we couldn't sit still for more than a few minutes. We actually won a tournament because the fog made us stay in the same spot for a bit. lol

The times I have fished with Tommy Climer I have learned a lot. Tommy can skip,pitch and flip better than anyone I have ever seen live or on TV. Tommy is also one of the most versatile anglers I have ever been on the water with.

I have been blessed to share a boat with both of these guys and several other good sticks and just paying attention to what they do on the water I have learned a lot!

Is Tommy a better fisherman or storyteller?
