We are on our way!! Fishing with my dad again this year out of his 08 Puma. This is such a great event to fish, very well organized. Looking forward to seeing all of the nice boats again!!
Pain only hurts until it goes away!

Did they actually fish or stand around talking about how pretty their boats were...  Them BassCat guys are all old fellers and all....

Mark Hall can make some goooood chili. I was a little confused how a Ranger guy could be serving basscat owners chili....was worried it was tainted. ha

I didn't stick around after weigh in, but congrats to the gentlemen that won it, and to the team that caught the over. It was tough fishing this weekend, or maybe Cameron just sold me a bunch of faulty baits because they sure didn't catch fish as advertised....
We did find one deep spot in practice that we whacked em pretty good on jigs but they were all slot fish except for one under, so I think the deep bite should be heating up soon.
On another note, that was some dang good chili Mark. I'm glad I got there before it ran out

I will have final story and results tomorrow.

18 and change. 1 over was caught...91 boats. 18 paid spots and right at 13 to get a check...first place $4500 and a chance for trip to Brazil...
