When are you guys hitting the water after this first actual cold front? Tomorrow afternoon?

Monday. Today and tomorrow night of cold weather will jack them up they will be back on schedule monday.

this cold front wont be too bad because the lake temps are still high, but after the lake temps get closer to 50 degrees the fronts will impact the fish more. if the bait fish are moving right now so will the bass. just look for banks out of the wind.

I went out beating the banks and the bass were biting this morning.

It's more about high pressure than lower temperature. I'd prefer to wait for the barometer to drop.

Anytime you can go is a good time. If a man in Texas waits for perfect conditions to go then he ain't fishing much. Barometric pressure is great useless info but fact is you are powerless to change it. Just go fishing. Sometimes the fish don't know they ain't supposed to bite.

always a fish biting somewhere just gotta find the ones biting can't catchem' if ur not on water so just get on water and enjoy the peace and relaxation of what mother nature gives us...

Had one of my best days in years, fishing shallow Friday before the front, and on Saturday after the front on Lake Texoma. Fished the same spot both days and caught stripers, hybrids, largemouth and smallmouth all on rattletraps.

My answer is the same as I always say. " Best time to go fishing is as soon as you can!"

Personally, will have more of it come Tuesday.

today was very good, had one go over 5lbs, and caught several 2 1/2 to 3 lb fish jig bite on most. front only moved shad out a little deeper.

i went from 39 topwater strikes yesterday, to 4 today.

Just fished an hour this morning, I hooked 5 on topwater, landed 4, had 8 blowups. The escapee spit my lure back at me and slightly hooked me in the sternum, and of course he was only about 12". 3 of the 4 were schoolers. The non schooler was the big fish at 3.2lbs, the other 3 were under 2.5. A lot of action for an hour of bank fishing. Then it all really died once the sun was up over the trees. Tomorrow morning the bite should be vicious with the barometer dropping some.
