I am looking for a partner to find and fish ponds around Denton. I have a new Bass Buster 2 man boat and x-70 Lowrance that we can use to find the best spots for big fish.

I ONLY want to fish for the big fish. Big swim baits, big swim jigs, big baits. I can't stress this enough ... WE WILL BE FISHING FOR BIG BASS.

We could spend hours tossing huge baits for only one bite.

I want to catch a DD.

You must want to catch a DD and willing to put in the effort to get it.

I have two sweet ponds right now that have huge fish in them so I am not just looking for more spots to fish.

We can cover more water with big baits if there are two of us.

I have this one pond that I know there is a toad in.

I have hooked him and he trashed my bank standing self.

We will meet at the pond and fish for 2-3 hours at different times of the day until we figure out when the big ones feed.

We adjust our baits to catch the big fish in that type of pond.

We will hit that pond at the best times to catch the big fish, no matter what time it is, until we catch the mac daddy of the pond.

Then we move on.

good luck.. I've caught as big as a 9lb 10oz(with a crappy scale) about 15 years ago on a pond in Sanger... Love those govt watershed lakes out there..

Most big fish are going to be off shore in the deeper sections of the ponds, we need to find them spots and hammer them.

Spend the time charting out the water, looking for that deep hump or saddle with some cover.

We could get some 8" "Live" Magic Shads from Lake Fork Trophy Lures or some Huddleston baits and search the deep water.

I wish I would have seen this thread before we decided to move.
