Does anyone have any info regarding the conditions of the ramps , mainly the Caney Creek Hwy 198N Bridge ramp. I haven't been on the lake in several years and I know the lake is currently over 5 ft. low. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Don't use the Caney/198 ramp. Go to log cabin around the corner.

I'm sure as low as the lake is right now the 198 ramp is unusable. I was down there in July and watched a couple of trailer drive off the end of the ramp.

Yep, early July, the lake was low enough for folks to go off the en of the ramp. Seems it caved in the middle, so either side you try you drop on the inside. Several folks went off. Heard of at least one broke axle.

Do not use Caney City ramp. It is way to shallow. Keep going north on 198 to 3054 and turn at kammans exxon. Go about 4 tenths of a mile and turn right on Alamo Rd. It dead ends into the log cabin ramp .

Thanks guys. Have a small club tourney coming up and we were suppose to use the 198 ramp... guess we'll move it to Log Cabin.

Has anyone launched at Log Cabin lately? It's been a long time since I've used this ramp.

I have not used it in the past 2 to 3 weeks , but from some of the post on here from as recent as this week, its still in good shape. Dont know how long its been since you used it, but it is one of the better if not best ramps on the lake. Maybe someone else will chime in for you. Good luck in the tourney.
