The Ray Hubbard Bass Cub will be having our August tournament Saturday August 10 on our home lake, Lake Ray Hubbard. Here is the information -

� When: Saturday, August 10
� Where: Lake Ray Hubbard, Chandler's Marina
� Time: 5:30 AM - 2:00PM
� Registration: 4:30 AM - 5:15 AM
� Entry Fee: $60.00 per boat � 2 person maximum; Launch Fee: $10 per boat collected at registration by the tournament director, Jerry Brown.

You MUST be an RHBC member to fish this tournament. We do not accept membership at the launch ramp, so if you want to fish this one, you will need to join the Club at our meeting Thursday night August 8 at The Flying Saucer in Garland.

Registration will be at the ramp starting at 4:30 on Saturday morning. ALL TRAILERS MUST BE PARKED IN THE GRASS FIELD BELOW THE CONDOS. No lines in the water until 5:30. When you register you will be given a numbered domino. You will need to turn in the domino to get your fish weighed. There will be a 30 minute dead water period where no fishing is allowed at the end of the day. This is to give members time to get off the water, and the TD time to get the weigh in set up. The chip must be back in the bucket by 2:30 and weigh in will start then. See you at the ramp!

Great monthly meeting last night at the Flying Saucer in Garland. One cool report - RHBC now has 13 father son teams competing including one leading our AOY race. That's an awesome way to spend time together. Listen, I've seen a lot of back and forth on tournament trails this week.

We love when our members show up in great numbers not just in our club tournaments but in the results of many of the trails as well.

But we're a bass club first and we've got a great group. If you're interested in joining a club with some good sticks willing to share some of their knowledge, take a look one month. Come fish with us at an Open or a community event like the fund raising tournament we're hosting in October for Paralyzed Veterans.

ALl I have to say is this is a great club with a bunch of great guys/gals in it. Jay and I had some motor issues and the 3 boats we saw in the club all offered help. A big thanks to Eric/Evan Vidal, Tommy/Tony Climer, and Rick/Julie Morehouse.
There are a bunch of great sticks and even better people in this club and I'm happy a non boater like myself has the opportunity to fish and have some fun with you guys.

Congrats Jay and Tony! Good job guys!

Nice job fellas. It was tough and hot. Big John Bruner said he wished the tournament lasted until 5! I think he might have been suffering from heat exhaustion! We'll get results posted soon on the website. Jay and Tony won with just shy of 13. Second with 12.56 was George Dorman and James Franklin. Jeff Cartwright and Mitchel Bailey were 3rd with 11.77 (Mitchel lost a DD that he and Jeff both say would have been a lunker. Probably another example of heat exhaustion because it was probably only 5 lbs). Fire Plug Doug Renner and Andy Medina were fourth with 11.64. Tony Climer's girlfriend let him come out and fish and he and Tommy finished 5th with 11.05! Tony knocked the rust off with the Big Bass of the day that went 6.5e lbs. Justin Garrett and Bubba Anderson cashed the last check with around 10 and a half pounds. Overall, it was a great turnout. We had 28 boats. Thanks to everyone that came out and fished. We'll see you guys next month at Cedar Creek.

Well done Jay and Tony! Congrats to everyone that braved the weather all day to grind out some fish. I just wanted to say how great it was to see everyone Thursday night at the meeting. I miss you guys and look forward to getting back to a more "normal" life next year and being back on a regular basis. The lifetime membership voted to me means a lot. I love this Club and the people in it. It's been a huge part of my life and I expect it will be for a long time to come. By the way, I took down the names of those that voted against...
