If I'm not fishing, then I'm carving crankbaits. That is every bit of free time I have, and it is far from satisfying the crave.

If I had the funds I would fish every day. I fish as much as possible, as it is I get to fish around 100 days or so.

I'm off 26 weeks a year, probably fish 4-5 times a week during that time so I'd guess 100-125. Not always a full day, lot of times I get out at 630 and I'm off by 1030-11.

I had to cut back over the last few years...I fish 2 days a week, and never more than that unless its vacation, regional or national championships...then its ON...Kind of helps keep peace here at home too..

about 50 and I feel like I'm fishing all the time. my fishing season is about 8 months as the other 4 months are focused on hunting. so fishing 1 day a week the other 8 months is 34 days. for those 8 months between tournaments and practice I will average an extra day about every other week, so another 17 days.

for anyone saying more than 50 days with a full time job and family I think your math is suspect.

Approximately 50.

Starting in January I average 1-2 days a week until football season starts in August and then I work about 120 straight days until we get knocked out of the playoffs. So I estimate about 40 fishing trips a year.

Granted, They usually consist of 3 to 4 Hour trips but I'm not complaining.

Not if you are one of the lucky ones that your family fishes with you! My husband and I fish at least twice a week and if the weather is decent our 2 year old goes with us.

The real question is not how many days you fish, it is how many days you catch fish...lol

but I usually try to get out a couple times a week, even if it is just for an hour, getting out for a little while is still better than nothin

Not enough and plus I noticed that this year I've been extra busy. So busy that it causes me to rush while I'm fishing. I plan on taking week off in the fall and do nothing but fish.

Recently fixed a small tackle box and rod and reel to carry in
the truck just in case I'm out somewhere for work and find
a pond, creek ,river, lake, or even a mud puddle.

Man I am jealous. I'm addicted to fishing but can only get out approximately 30 days with a 19 month old son and a wife who thinks I go too much as it is. I'm hoping the little guy likes to fish like daddy and increases the amount of days I get to go. We would have a blast. I think I will push for 45 this next year and try to gradually increase it every year. I embarrass my wife by practicing my pitching out in the driveway where the neighbors can see me. Hehe. Maybe hoping eventually she will say just go.

I work full time, 6 days a week actually. When you live three miles from the nearest lakes and ponds (LBJ Grasslands) and the sun sets rather late (summer) its very easy to go out after work everyday and fish a couple hours. I only do this 3-4 times a week though.
Of course I have not my own family, so my time is MINE haha
