After reading about it on this site, I had finally booked a trip up to Bluegill Lakes Cabins for the fiance and I. We will be there Friday-Sunday, and hopefully get in to some nice fish (although Raven is going to be hard to beat!). Will be fishing with the fly rod, and her on ultra lite gear so it will be fun regardless. I'll report back after the trip!

I hope so. We are staying in the A-Frame cabin, with the hot tub. Figure we'll go into Athens during the day on saturday, go to the fishery, maybe town square or something.

Gettin close! Haven't been able to concentrate all day. Can't wait. Got a can of fisher's choice crickets, night crawlers, and some gulp baits for the fiance and I'll be taking my fly rod. Over the last month I've gone from 10 flies to around 100. Going to try and force myself to use more than 2 on the trip.

ckwilson, they are cabins for rent on small private ponds, not sure if you can fish for the day or not. They are located on 19 North of Athens, South of Canton.
