Did you ever find a replacement cowling? Wes told me what happened, and man that sucks.

Nope not yet.

When I didn't need one there were 20 for sale. Now it seems there aren't any local at all.

It's my own dang fault too, a while back I noteced my latch didn't feel quite right and I forgot to look at it.

Looked at it last night and it's way out of adjustment so it just bounced loose in the rough water.

I put up a reward if found on fishing tx for 300.00.

The mariner aliens are rare, but I thought a merc one would be easy to find to get me back on the water.

Gonna have to pull the powerhead it looks like and put my whole 260 cowl set up on

And maybe a 260 too while I'm at it lol

was it before yall got to scotts point? Maybe get someone with side imaging to go look. Does your GPS save the trail fromw hen y'all took off?

The current and wind should have had it blowing into the docks?

Yeah I was making the turn to Scott's point and looked back to make sure no one was next to us before I turned and saw my powerhead staring at me.

Don't know if I could see it with my si. Maybe should look like a big square in the water I guess.

And yeah I went back over my trail right after looking for it floating but we couldn't see it, it was rough.

Turning around and going back through all the other boats going north also made the waves even worse and harder to see anythin in the water.
