Over 5 feet low yesterday. I bet it is full today with all the severe storms. 4-6 inches of rain in that area of Johnson county so far. Saw an image of the tornado that went through there. It was huge.

Those storms last ngiht were certainly crazy. Hope anyone that had family out there is ok. Ive heard lots of reports of alot of damage out there. Yall be safe!

Im glad that thing turned north when it left Cleburne last night it was headed in my direction. We had 40mph winds with gusts for almost an hour and got 7.17" of rain by my rain gauge in three hours.

So Sandy's is history. Have to get minners elsewhere now.

So does anyone know for sure if the McClouds(I think its called)bait and gas is destroyed.If its called sandys then I never paid attention.Its across from the school at the nolan river country club intersection?

If it is ths one he's talking about then it is the one I'm talking about. My bud calls it Sandy's because the guy running it is an Arab.

I know a supervisor where I work just bought a home in Cleburne, set to move in this coming weekend, and word is the roof got blown off. I heard it was near the lake, don't know where or for sure though. I'm sure he wouldn't want us to know where he lives. lol

Yes that bait and gas station was pretty much destroyed. Probably wont be open for quite some time, total loss..

According to the water data today it has only gone up about a foot. Maybe more by tomorrow. The track of the tornado took it right over the lake just above the dam. I'm sure the twister sucked a lot of water out, it was a mile wide at that point according to the weather service.
