Our new Ascend FS128T Kayaks arrived this morning.

It is available in 2 colors, dark camo and light camo, and retails for $699.99 in the store. It is 12 feet long, and in all honesty, I'm not exactly sure how much it weighs. These aren't even listed on the website yet, so I will be sure to get back to you guys with the info as soon as I find out more.

There are five storage hatches: two big round hatches, one small round hatch with bag, and two large square locking hatches. It comes with an anchor trolly installed, 4 flush mount rod holders, a paddle clip, a scotty-style rod holder and base, and a stand-assist cord.

The seat rotates 360 degrees and can be fixed at different heights.

This thing was definitely turning some heads today.

Actually pretty cool. My buddy bought an ascend 2 years ago or so and this one has way more features.

looks good. wish brighter color tho. maybe that will come. looks like a good standing yak that wont cost a grand.

Interesting boat.....like a half-priced Diablo. 360 deg seat? - lots of opps for that it seems if the boat proves to be very stable. Love the open flat floor......wonder if the hatch will take full standing weight and how well the floor hatches seal. I had never really paid attention to the Ascend line but looked at them about a week ago at the Garland store and was impressed with quality and some features for the price......and what appears to be a decent seat.

That thing is sick! If I wasn't set on peddles I'd be yalls Guinea pig.

I didn't get a low position picture, but I will.

The seat can rotate, but you can also lock it (so it doesn't spin freely).

The kayak should be pretty stable. I won't lie, it has some weight and width to it (again, it reminds me of a paddle board). However, it would be manageable with a cart, and easy to load into a truck or trailer.

Very cool. Once again I saith " The high seat position is Awesome!" I dont care what kayak it is on. Now having said that I think the swivel high position is pretty cool idea,but curious how yak performs when swiveling sideways and center of gravity being so high. Still like the idea of it!
