I guess I get closed minded . I took a friend fishing to Fork last weekend that does not fish much. I was not doing a very good job of putting us on fish. He tied a Berkley 10" power worm and started catch good fish. And that was the most productive bait for the weekend.

i like big worms all year but especially post spawn. i like them on my magnum heads on humps and ledges. I also like them Carolina rigged. Zoom ol' Monsters are my favorite along with Gene Larew 11 inch sneaky snakes.

I use them pretty much year around!
In order:
1. Upton's Custom Worms (look em up on TW)
2. Zoom Ol' Monster
3. Netbait C-Mac
4. Berkley Powerworm
5. Gene Larew El Salto worm
6. Power Team Lures Ribbon Hinge worm
7. Big Bite Baits Kriet Tail worm
8. Lake Fork Worm
9. Gambler Ribbon Tail Worm
10. Kicker Fish Hightail Ribbon Worm

These all work for me. And color depends on the scenario.
