There's some mean ole blue cat that lives in that brush pile near the bridge. He's been tormenting me for two solid years, I will know, and I mean KNOW that I have him hooked and set, and every stinking time he foils me somehow. He's got some kinda Jedi hook throwing mojo, or can always seem to find a branch to wrap me around. Last night I had him at the bank, up on the shore line out of the water completely, when I reached down to get him, I'll be derned if he didn't wiggle waggle just right throw off my circle hook and manage to get back to the water before I could get my hands on him!

I have a love/hate thing with that fish lol. If one of y'all gets him, put him back, I got a score to settle with him. Lol

You need to fish him with the "buddy system"...One person to catch him, and one person to lasso and ride him! Contact Lone Star Cat, he loves to ride the blues over there.

Too bad you tossed her back...you know she might have weighed close to 5 lbs, ROUNDING DOWN, OF COURSE! Ketchn, are you allowed to round down? I think the forum readers prohibit rounding UP, but I don't remember seeing/hearing anything about rounding DOWN...

Rounding down is a mortal sln and goes against the fishermens code of ethics!Everbody knows you are allowed to add 2oz - 2 lbs to make up for rusty scales! rolfmao bolt

DANG IT...AND WE WERE HAVING FUN TOO!!! You went and cleared up the mystery AND quashed our fun, all with one fail swoop!

Anyone got enough line to cast to Meridian State Park boat ramp?

Hey Masterboater...Do you know what the term Meridian means and accordingly how the town got its name? If not, check it out next time you are out that way!

A meridian (or line of longitude) is the half of an imaginary great circle on the Earth's surface terminated by the North Pole and the South Pole, connecting points of equal longitude. The position of a point along the meridian is given by its latitude. Each meridian is perpendicular to all circles of latitude. Each is also the same size, being half of a great circle on the Earth's surface and therefore measuring 20,003.93 km (12,429.9 miles).
