These posts used to be at the top of the forum when the lake was so low in 2011. I know having these coords in my gps saved me from trashing my boat on several occasions as I found that I had trails run right through some of these minefields at higher water levels. http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbt...GPS#Post7565122http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/6759892/Re_A_few_tips_for_safely_runni#topI remember that Marc Mitchell and Jason Hoffman also posted coords of some "boat run" stumps that they encountered during that time as well. I'm sure there's a lot more posts of gps coords so those of you who aren't familiar with running the lake when it's low might want to do a search and plug some X's in your gps units.

Thanks for this timely post. If we don't get some good rain, these coords will become very important.

Your my boy Blu!...These post need to be sticky'ed! One caveat I almost forgot: This info can only be used by guys who have really cool jerseys, quad power poles, triple SI images, and at least 30 pro-staff listings in their TFF signatures. Everyone else - the lake is safe to run

Big thank you for posting these. I just completed adding these waypoints to my HDS and found that my boat trails show I've been dangerously close to several stumps in the main boat lanes.

If you head into Little Mustang the second (might be third) marker is off quite a bit with the slack in the line it's laying over a bunch too so watch out.

There was a new stump( hard to believe :-) ) in the Little Mustang boatlane found by Mark Perry. This might be a better thread to post this list which I try to maintain on Fork hazards. Thanks to Tom Reddington for orginial list, Don Screen for Gpsvisualizer method, Blu-Ranger and all who post coordinates. name,latitude,longitude xShallow03, N32 49.544 , W095 35.003 xShallow02, N32 49.551 , W095 34.980 xShallow01, N32 49.557 , W095 34.953 xFloater01, N32 49.464 , W095 33.704 xDanger34, N32 50.721 , W095 36.832 xDanger33, N32 49.468 , W095 35.340 xDanger32, N32 49.477 , W095 35.294 xDanger31, N32 51.297 , W095 31.600 xDanger30, N32 53.845 , W095 31.459 xDanger29, N32 50.557 , W095 36.708 xDanger28, N32 50.553 , W095 36.741 xDanger27, N32 54.515 , W095 38.678 xDanger26, N32 52.444 , W095 31.427 xDanger25, N32 49.391 , W095 33.813 xDanger24, N32 49.429 , W095 33.835 xDanger23, N32 49.442 , W095 33.846 xDanger22, N32 49.083 , W095 33.180 xDanger21, N32 48.794 , W095 33.087 xDanger20, N32 52.397 , W095 37.012 xDanger19, N32 50.552 , W095 36.748 xDanger18, N32 51.171 , W095 36.794 xDanger17, N32 48.815 , W095 34.048 xDanger16, N32 48.791 , W095 34.089 xDanger15, N32 48.873 , W095 34.079 xDanger14, N32 49.026 , W095 34.015 xDanger13, N32 48.832 , W095 34.083 xDanger12, N32 48.895 , W095 34.000 xDanger11, N32 52.505 , W095 36.788 xDanger10, N32 52.406 , W095 36.908 xDanger09, N32 52.448 , W095 37.010 xDanger08, N32 52.467 , W095 37.090 xDanger07, N32 48.897 , W095 34.378 xDanger06, N32 50.709 , W095 36.887 xDanger05, N32 50.732 , W095 36.706 xDanger04, N32 49.360 , W095 33.786 xDanger03, N32 51.677 , W095 31.229 xDanger02, N32 50.902 , W095 36.674 xDanger01, N32 48.050 , W095 33.020 My latest update added Perry's Little Mustang stump, couple of Dale stumps and Dale shallow area in or close to the boatlanes. Reorganized and renamed coordinates sequentially. Also note that xFloaternn's might have moved or be gone. You can use GPSVISUALIZER to convert to GPX format. http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/convert_inputJust cut&paste,set output units to U.S.,set output for GPX format, then convert. Next page gives you a download link. Maybe do a Save As during download, direct to your folder and rename file to a useful name. I am a Humminbird user. HumminbirdPC will not read this GPX file. Maybe someone has another solution. But I feed this new GPX file thru GPSBABEL and convert to a USR file, then OPEN new USR file in HBPC. Then copy&paste new waypoint(s) into my HBPC Lake Fork data. I think Lowrance users can just load the GPX file created and downloaded from Gpsvisualizer. A Lowrance user will have to try this. QED, but sure more hazards are out there. Enjoy.

You can actually enter the waypoints into your bird manually. It takes some time but you don't have to run back and forth between your computer and the unit. After I got them all entered I had a finger cramp from pushing the buttons so darn much lol.

Copy&paste the hazard data into a .TXT file on your home PC including the header line. You can use GPSVISUALIZER to create a file that you can use to input the above GPS coordinates into your Humminbird or Lowrance units that have GPS. You will need to Browse to the file on your home PC. Go to http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/gpsbabel/.Use the following setup for HumminbirdPC: Use the following setup for Lowrance units: Use the following for Humminbird unit HWR file: But I recommend you create the Humminbird GPX above that you will open with HumminbirdPC, then use HBPC to create the SD/MMC data for input into your HB sonar units. But if you do not use HBPC, let me know and I can help you. Or if I could post the created files for later download for ya'll, I or someone might be able to do that.

Here is the same hazard-list, but I included a waypoint icon symbol which I forgot earlier. My bad.
It is a Humminbird waypoint icon symbol.
