Just to confuse even further, I got hit about 8 days ago.I was a CAG member last year but my membership has expired. I have ordered from resistance and Big carp tackle, but neither order has been recent.I think you can rule out the hotels.I did notice that back on january7th i got an email form big carp saying my account had been deleted. It looks like that would have been a paypal order though at big carp.

I have contacted Resistance and BCT and both of them repied to my email. The charges that were pending in my bank account did not go through!

To say CAG is the culprit is a S T R E T C H ... I don't believe that is so.....to many other happenings with credit card fraud to have it lie on a small organization like CAG, or for that matter any one of the Carp Vendors,,,,this is a major effort by some pretty smart hackers....I wouldn't be surprised if it all came out in the news pretty soon, as yet another ring like the one that was just busted,,,,,, we are so quick to blame others that we are close to,,,chances are this has SQUAT to do with any Carping concern Captain WHOOPASSS hasn't been associated with CAG in half of forever, and neither have several of you that have been compromised,,,,got to be a much bigger fish causing the problem, but it will get caught,,,,,,,I got stung on 2 cards in the past 2 weeks,,,really a pain in the arse, since one of them has payments taken out by certain companies each month,, Very disturbing, indeed, but it will sort out,,
CAG (Carp Anglers Group) has been and will always be a place where questions can be asked. friends made, and events can be enjoyed.

Neil, we already came to the conclusion it wasn't Cag? Cag only sets up recurring charges without your consent........
