I updated my crate. I went with a pure milk crate added gear trac, rod holders, and dividers to keep my boxes from moving to much.

OK, I may jack your idea with tackle box rack. Nice looking crate you got there.

It's a chrome desk file. I had to cut every other rung out.

I thought it was one of those file keepers, but didn't realize you cut some out. Great idea.

What did you use to hold your hawg trough? Where did you get the dividers?

For hawg trough holder I got 2 handles (screen door type) and cut one end off. Then added some silent trac to the area that the has trough touches.

For the dividers I got file desk folder divider from office max or staples. I cut out every other divider and zip tied it to the bottom of the crate.

One look in that crate and tackle box made me realize I could use a reorganization plan. Great job!

Nice job, Mike. You just raised the bar for milk crate storage. Does the hawg trough just sit in those arms or do you bungee it down?

So far it will just sit. It seems to sit pretty well and will still be easy to get to. Time will tell. I use to just lay it beside my crate in the past, so this is better that that. I want easy to access.

Very nice man. In that last pic, what'd you use to hold those pliers? Can't tell what that is. There's some good ideas here. Definitely need to do some work on mine.

Dadgum Mike, that is the coolest crate I have ever seen. You think of everything. Must be the valentine version. Looks like it comes with cookies, wine and candles! Isn't tinkering with your equipment half the fun of this lunacy! Can't wait to see it in action.

Great idea. Made me run out to Office Max to give it a go. Wow, does it ever help.

I added a divider for the crate as well to keep the boxes in their space.
