1 c sliced zucchini
1 c broccoli florets
1 1/2 c snow peas
1 cup baby peas
6 asparagus spears

Steam all this just until tender.

Meanwhile heat a little olive oil and saute up some cubed chicken breast or some shelled shrimp, 1/2 onion, 4 oz sliced mushrooms and salt and pepper and 2 teaspoons garlic. When this is done, add to the pan 1 cup heavy cream and reduce for a little bit. Add 1/2 c parmesan and 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil.

Toss with 1 lb of cooked pasta, and your steamed veggies. When ready to serve, sprinkle 2 diced fresh tomatoes on top.

I make something like this and improve it by throwing in some smoked sausage.
