Had a half day trip booked Sunday with Sean (I think Mr. Catfish here) on Lake Waco. Water temps had dropped a few degrees on Waco with the recent cold front on Friday but the fishing was still good. Several nice blue's caught with almost 4 at the same time (all back to back, release look up and another rod was down). The slot is a working peice of art and Lake Waco is the proof. All these fish were slot fish. Just a note, Lake record was broke yesterday by a fellow TFF'er yesterday, we also lost a fish over the current lake record also, gave a great show with tail slaps just came unbuttoned though. I know, the big fish got away story but I'm sure big10 or mr. catfish will chime in here soon. Only have 1 weekend day left in February. Be sure and like us on Facebook! Search Cattin Around Adventures on pages.

I 2nd what spud is saying here. Waco is really showing off right now. And the big fish are biting fast! Here's our big fish from yesterday. Weighed 48lbs 15 ounces on my uncertified scales in the boat. Dad also got his new PB of 19 We had a rough day getting the big fish in the boat. Had 1 missed hookup, one get wrapped up in the sticks, and another come unbuttoned. All over 20 lbs and took the bait within 10 min of each other. On another note, can anyone recomend a good big strong dipnet? That 48 had trouble getting in the net and when it did he did a little damage to it. Slot limit is paying off!!

Great looking fish Spud and Big10. I don't think it will be long before we see a 50 or 60 show up!

Great looking fish Spud and Big10. I don't think it will be long before we see a 50 or 60 show up! I think it could happen soon as well. I'm gana have to also get a bigger scale. The one I have now maxs out at 50. I originally got it to figure out which fish to weigh in crappie tournaments.
