Does anyone know where I can get some Bob Young jig heads?

I'm asking for a friend who is trying to locate a source.

Thanks

Mr Young died. His Widow Ms Ellie is still making a few. She has been sick lately also. I had her phone number but can't find it now. I waited almost a month for a few jigs from her back in November. A lot of people swear by his jigs. I personally could not tell they were any better than some of the other ones available on line, or some of the ones I have been making myself.

My friend said his wife wasn't making any jigs now so I appreciate all your replies and info on these jigs. I will pass this on to my friend.

I had a guy from Alabama send me a few jig heads that looked like these and asked me to replicate them. All I did was take a ball head jig and cut the nose to a "V" and it looked just like his.

Here is the Channelock Dikes I use

here is what it looks like after the cut

Maybe I am totally off base but this is what I was asked to reproduce and I'm not even sure it is the same as the Bob Young jig heads.

I hope this helps.

His heads were sure different as I have had one in my hands before. I don't think it really matters though as I have made a lot of guys the same style with either a round head or some with a minnow head and they have come back for more and told me they work just great.

I have made so many with that style and see no end to guys wanting them.

Those look like the jigs i have. Bought them at lake Fork marina many years ago. Bob Young jigs were the best back then. My fishing partner bought me and him several hundred back in the day.
