These are my latest rods. They took a lot of work and I'm happy with the way they came out.

MHX S Glass- This is new from MHX this year and I very impressed with how light this blank is for being S Glass. The grip is carbon fiber and I went a little crazy with the thread work.






This is a not a fly rod blank, I was looking for something stout that could handle some big flies and was tournament legal. I know sage has some bass blanks out there but I did some research and endend up with a 8' 2pc MHX hotshot blank. It is made for shooting line, not a distance caster. Might call it the flipping sticks of fly rods. I am happy with the way it turned out and I'll give it a go in a couple tournaments this year. I have had cabin fever so I've been tying some flies too.

hi all, I'm new here. I registered to the forum just because I wanted to get some feedback on a fly rod based on the HS9600-2
Ninja, this is one cool fly rod you built there. I'm currently building on the same blank, and I was curious about your experience with it. I saw the vid you posted on the tube in August, so I know you've used it ^^
