Who cares if he was in the Army or not?

he's done a few recently. he is now doing 10 day 2 part shows. He did 2 about 3 months ago. One was a shipwreck off the coast of Mexico, but is was basically desert. I can't remember where the other episode was.

I just wish he would have a film crew. Some of the shots really suck, and you can get seasickish when he is filming and walking.

When I first saw this show, I thought Dave was Craig T. Nelson. Anyone else see the resemblance not only with looks but he sounds like Nelson too. I was expecting Dauber to come out of the woods.

I spend a lot of time griping at the tv during these shows. You have food EVERYWHERE and y'all are talking about going hungry? DUDE! You're sitting on food! Idiot. "I haven't eaten in three days!" Uh huh. Moron.

That said, we occasionally like Dual Survival, but every time I watch the army guy, I want to throw something at his head.

Les Stroud rocks. Although the one in the Georgia swamps made me giggle. Repeatedly. He's in there talking about how the mud is keeping the skeeters off, meanwhile he's burning spanish moss in the fire. If he'd boil that and make a tea from it, and then bathe in that, the skeeters would leave him alone.

Again. Morons. Is it just me or do they make it a lot more ... scary and "deadly" than it is. I've yet to see any place except up north where I'd have problems.
