Has anyone on here ever fished mill creek lake / Canton city lake?

If so, how was it?

Which one? I have fished mill creek quite a bit. It has some good fish in it but it can be tricky.

Mill Creek... I went yesterday for a couple of hours and never got a dink.... I threw a square bill crank bait in 6-8 foot in the cove strait across from the ramp and threw a jig for a bit off some weed beds near the dam...

Any suggestions big mike?

They killed the grass in it and now it is hard to catch any good fish.you can catch some dinks sometimes but fishing is tough

Are you sure they killed it. I thought that it didn't grow because of the water level. I don't think they would kill the grass out there.

Me n oreynolds77 caught good fish. I caught an over actually and this was at the end of November. We actually found grass real close to the boat ramp.

This may be a dumb question, but I'm kind of new to the bass world, how do you locate grass?

I wasn't there when they did it but we use to have lily pads and grass.i heard they were complaining about the grass at the swimming area by the boat ramp.now we have little grass and the Texas park and wildlife have been doing a lot of shocking to check the lake.i hope the grass didn't grow and they didn't kill it.maybe it will come back.We need it out there that's about all the lake has to offer.

The city of canton killed it. Complaints from swimmers and people who wanted to fish from the bank.

Well maybe the grass will come back. We had a good lake before they killed it. Where do we need to complain about them killing the grass.sounds like we need to talk to the same one the swimmers did

What about athens city lake? Is it any good?
