The Ray Hubbard Bass Cub will be having our tenth tournament of 2012 on Saturday October 13th on Cypress Spring Lake. Here is the information. • When: Saturday October 13th • Where: Overlook Park Ramp • Time: 7:00AM - 3:00PM • Registration: 6:00 - 6:45AM • Entry Fee: $60.00 per boat – 2 person maximumYou MUST be an RHBC member to fish this tournament. We do not accept membership at the launch ramp, so if you want to fish this one, you will need to join the Club at our meeting Thursday night October 11th. Meeting info is here: http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbt...ay_#Post8087395Registration will be at the Overlook Park ramp starting at 6:00 on Saturday morning. Trailering is allowed after registration and live well check. You may proceed to a ramp of your choice and launch. No lines in the water until 7:00. When you register you will be given a numbered chip. You will need to turn in the chip to get your fish weighed. There will be a 30 minute dead water period where no fishing is allowed at the end of the day. This is to give members time to get off the water, and the TD time to get the weigh in set up. The chip must be back in the bucket by 3:30 and weigh in will start then. See you at the ramp!

18 boats came out yesterday for our season ending tournament. Doug Rener and Ronnie Manning won on Cypress with a huge bag that weighed 23 pounds even. That included a 7.51 big bass and another 6.99 kicker in their bag. I will get full results and pictures posted later this week.

You guys broke it in a big way! Like Alec said, you guys have been extremely good this year on every lake you've fished! That sack in those conditions was impressive. Great job.

the funniest part of the day was having a Kayaker try to go around us in the lilly pads and fish the narrow 75 yard stretch in front of us... I am usually not vocal on the water unless the actions are very blatantly disregarding sportsmanship. I had to get the guy to stop, and explain to him he was going to scare all the fish we were targeting in a non-navigable waterway. Luckily he was very cordial and understood without any negativity. Great day! Communication is very essential on the water with others. I hope that guy caught a 10 pounder on the other side of the pads!
We culled all but our smallest 2.25 pounder from up there. Not much quality at all up there.

I got to net Ronnie's 2 toads, Ronnie put it on them Sat. All I could catch was 2-3 pounders lol And as for "Kenny Kayacker", he was courteous once we all communicated. It was a fun day for sure!
