Yes Brian. It is Agkistrodon piscivorus. Juvies have similar markings of the others species within the genus Agkistrodon, which includes copperheads.

That is 100% water moccasin with out a doubt. I cant believe so many people are saying thats a copperhead.

If you in fact did google both, the picture of the copperhead is just like the picture shown. The Water Moccasin does not have the color the copperhead does.

Trick question on the new snake picture. Dendroaspis polylepis and not one you want to mess with if ever in Africa.
