100% Water Moccasin. At 1st I thought it was a copper head. Found it about 100 feet off the Colorado River, Bastrop Co. Google em both....Definately a Copperhead.

Yes Brian. It is Agkistrodon piscivorus. Juvies have similar markings of the others species within the genus Agkistrodon, which includes copperheads.

That is 100% water moccasin with out a doubt. I cant believe so many people are saying thats a copperhead.

The Water Moccasin does not have the color the copperhead does.
