I actually believe u on this. Theres a pond i know of with alot of 16+" shad. They are out there. Just gotta find the right pond.

Hell I've caught an 18in shad before. I don't think it was 2lbs tho..

all i know is their backs are about 1.5inches across and laying flat they are like 8 inches tall from back to stomach

Wonder why nobody takes you up on the gallon of milk thing ..... I can see where it would be hard for some, but I drink a 1/2 gal with my meals regularly, I would have no problem what so ever killing a gallon in an hour. (but I am 6'5" 280# and have plenty of room for it)
