There is no grass or lilly pads. Did the city spray to kill the vegetation? There were pads & grass in the lake back in June but now there are NONE. Anybody know what happened?

The grass weed and pads have been dieing off slowly over the last four years. the lake never seems to clear up without this vegetation.the city and tpwc are closed mouth on subject.the lake seem to be turning over most of the year. big creek has and is still going thru some major change. I believe it is more than water level change,or drought over the years, that the problem.

I know it was really low back before the spring rains came. It has been full to near full for about the past 3 months. The growth maybe still there just under water. I don't really know how fast this vegetation will recover to reach the surface.......

She has been full or near full for 6+ months. There is no grass or lilly pads so there is definitely something odd going on. I wonder why the "authorities" aren't saying anything (sounds like you asked and they refused to say anything).

Grass carp,muddy most of the time. 4 miles away and I hardly go there anymore.
