Quick shout out to Carey. He took me and my brother in law out Friday for a sandie trip. We fished hard all over the lake. He found the fish but they had lockjaw. We went back to a spot where he had marked them earlier for the last chance of the day. We were marking with no bites until the lake exploded and we caught our limit of 50 in about half an hour. Fun to catch them two at a time cast after cast.

Carey worked hard to put us on fish and gave us an awesome recipe to cook them.

Very scattered this morning. Small pockets of fish here and there but only boiling for 30 seconds then going down. Trying again this afternoon to see what happens.

Today a lot of yellows were pushing the bait up. Never saw any bigger fish schooling.

At 530pm we found them busting at Mallard Park lake side. Up for 1 hour then done. They were moving very fast too. Looked like dolphin schooling. We had to really burn the jigs and slabs on the surface to entice a strike.

Popped up at 715 am this morning over by the rail road tracks and we followed them all the way to the dam at Lavonia Park. Stayed up for 45 mins then vanished. There are 5-10 of out there trying to slab them off the bottom and even using smaller jigs on the bottom, they just don't want to feed unless they r on top. School is moving fast when they are boiling on the surface. Small jigs and rooster tails are key. Slabs work but not as affective yet due to the bait is still under and inch in length. Yellow bass are starting to show up as well.

Top water is fun quick action, good job

Popped up at the dam South Lavoina and travelled north for 15 mins and vanished. Only boated 20. Wind was terrible.
