I would definitely recommend this product for your boat along with the U2 live well treatment. I have run the Oxygenator in the last six boats. Let me know if you have any further questions. Debra

Supplemental oxygenation of oxygen depleted waters is proven to be an important tool by aquarium fish managers, TP&W fisheries and others. Usually large bottles of pure O2 are employed to effect an improvement. We need a similar oxygen product for our boats with livewells. You won't though likely find any scientific support showing any measured Dissolved O2 levels in livewells are truly being significantly increased by this product. It is "dissolved" oxygen that the fish need and lots of gas stage O2 is needed. The Oxygeators pure 02 generation claims may be quite true, but the nano-bubbles produced accumulating at the surface waters can't improve dissolved O2 levels there as the surface waters are already O2 saturated waters and the device may not add significant dissolved O2 to the depleted livewell waters already being aerated by te aerator. Marketing claims the fish are better off are largely unsupported claims. You would expect they would show measured dissolved oxygen levels in a typical well aerated fish livewell before and after use.

Ive had one for about 4 years now and it works, Ive put fish in the livewell bellu up before and it came back alive. You run wires to your battery for it and it comes on when water level reaches it.

Texas Parks and Wildlife ran a study and posted results using: An Oxygenator in one tank, a pure Oxygen system in one tank, and then regular aeration in the 3rd tank.
They tested the oxygen levels before and then after, and the Oxygenator didnt do a damn thing to the oxygen levels.
Does anyone have the link to the study?

I wouldn't trust anything TPW so called BIO's test and hand out results. I've seen them do some ignorant stuff that really surprised me. I have one and I will say it works better than the one without it so it must work???
