The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our sixth tournament of 2012 on Saturday June 9th at Lake Tawakoni. Another solid showing as we had 20 boats come out to fish the hot and muggy conditions. Tawakoni has been tough this year and this day was no different. Here are the complete results.
Here's Tony Schnurr weighing in the days catch.
Kenny and Howard Bunch only weighed one fish but it was a good one weighing 4.89 pounds. It missed big bass by .04 pounds!
David Simmons and Jared Fish are having a good year.
Herman Larkin fishing with Frank Story getting his teams bag sacked up.
After a second place finish on Cedar Creek last month, Dennis and Damon Machost finished fourth with 4 for 8.14.
Jay and I had our best finish of the year in third place with 5 for 11.53 thanks to Snakes work with a frog.
Tony Miller and Jason Fagan had a strong second place finish with 5 for 12.62. Here's Tony loading up the bag.
Here's Tommy Morris trying to decide which fish to weigh for big bass. The one on the left weighed 4.93 and was big bass of the tournament. Thanks to Jack Scheel with the assist.
Tommy and his guest Don Parks ran away with it weighing in 5 for 15.50 and getting his first RHBC win! Special thanks to Thing from the Addams family lending a hand for fish number 5...
Thanks to everyone that came out! Next up is our home water. We will be fishing Lake Ray Hubbard on Saturday July 14th. Hope to see you there!
