This is imbarsing!

Does anyone know where the thru hull tranducer is in a '95 Skeeter ZX-150?

I followed the wire and looked everwhere. It has to be near the back few feet or it would not work on plain. Looked under the gas tank & battery deck with a camera, but cant find it. I reall do not want to pull the batteries and tank until I get a visual where the dang thing is.

Should I abondon it and just plan on pulling everything and putting in a new down image tranducer and automatic bulge pump?

1) There is a hatch panel behind batteries that looks toward the bow, I do not see the cable or the tran.
2) I took the drain cover in front of the seat and looked back, cant see it.
3) Below the Tank & Battery deck there is a hole behind the tank, looking forward all I see is the belge puml. Could be in front of it, but is not accessbile unles you remove or cut a new hole in the tank/battery deck. If I could only get a visual, I'd be willing to give it a try.

I think the '95 skeeters are a double hull boat along the bottom, could it be between the hulls with no access?

I should at least be able to see the cord goes. Grrr.

trace wire back from your unit if that's possible, should be near the middle of the boat I would think.

Can't find the $%*#&*^% Transducer! The 95 Skeeter SX-150 has three decks. Top deck to stand on, the lower well that your feet are on when you sit and the gas tank and batteries set, and then under this deck. The transducer should be somewhere near the back between the live well pumps at the transom and the bulge pump, but I can find it with the camera. The transducer wire goes down the hole under the live wells behind the batteries.
Not sure which is easier (harder-neither is easy): pulling the batteries, battery rack, gas tank and standing on your head to do the work ; or removing the boats top deck and bump trim then replacing bulge pump, live well pumps, and in hull transducer.
Humminbird suggested flooding the hull with a little water and see if the transducer works to eliminate a failed installation. Maybe I should hook up another head unit to eliminate a bad HB side imaging firmware upgrade; lots of folks had this problem with the March upgrade. I noticed they came out with another firmware update, will upload it today and see if that fixes the problem, then let a little water in the hull and see if that helps.
Gota Love an Old Boat as is Bring On Another Thousand ! But then again, getting a new boat is like getting a new wifepossible a whole set of new problems and expenses. Always better to work things out.

It was located about 12 inches from the transom....remove batteries, emply tank and slide forward, stand on head and it is by the two livewell pumps. Works like a charm now.
