I've been investigating different kayaks for a couple of months now. I'm probably not any closer to selecting something, but I'm working on it. I've even looked at building something myself like Realbigreel's Hybrid.

But for now, we're leaving for FL tomorrow and will spend at least 4 days in Islamorada. I have 3 Hobie Mirage Outbacks reserved for Saturday and Sunday, and I plan to catch some fish and learn more about the pedal vs. paddle debate. Hopefully I can catch some tarpon and snook and post pics. Permit and bones would be fun too.

Zombie, we're not going out there. We're going to explore Florida Bay mostly, although we may check out the flats on the Atlantic side some. Midday temps may push us that way to get in the breeze. I have seen dolphins swimming on the flats in Islamorada in the past. Hopefully, they won't attack.....hehehe............
