An old man at cooper lake hooked me up with this recipe and I figured I would share.

Things you will need:

1) 1 gallon container (Plastic pickle jars work great)

2) 8 packages cheap hotdog weenies

3) Big bottle of apple cider vinegar or 2 small bottles

4) 2 bottles cheap garlic salt

5) 4 cloves fresh garlic

First cut all weenies into thirds. Next put all weenies in jar and pour vinagar over. Next cut garlic cloves up and add them and garlic salt to jar. Seal jar and let sit for 24 hours, Shake them a few times during the 24 hour ferminting time. Its simple as that and the cats love them. Here are some victims of the garlic weenies.

Just made me two batches. I had to put some onions in one batch for some reason.

These work great on jug lines. If using on rod reel you have to be gentle casting.

Tried this and they work awesome! They work even better in combination with punch/dip bait... My friend and I had a field day @ a Plano/Frisco pond and also had great action @ South Lakes park in Denton... Easiest way to make them stay on your hook is to push your hook through one side of the hotdog skin and out the other gently. If not, it is very easy to either cast them off, get robbed by potential dinner, or come up with an empty hook while checking bait after a missed hit.
