Hey everyone. Wondering where I will have easy, legal and safe access to the river east of Lady Bird Lake, preferably still in the city. Somewhere where the car will be there and in 1 piece after paddling. Thanks.

How about east of town lake. Going toward Bastrop and Webberville? Maybe around 183?

I read it wrong, thought you said west, I think you can put in at the Guerrero park but it has been 30 years since I fished that area and I am not sure what is still there. You might call ACK down there and see if they have a local report from anyone.

Don't leave your vehicle at 183.
Look up Mud Outdoor Center. They moved their business onto the Colorado and offer put in and shuttle service.
