Just bought a 09 ranger reata. Has it on there. Love the trollin motor but looks impossible to mount tranducer because the shaft slides up and down through a tight hole lol when deploying etc. Thanks

I have the Terrova same deployment. I did it per the install instruction�s you can download from Minkota website. You tie it at the top and bottom of shaft with slack in wire.
Con of this install you have to watch the wire on deployment so it doesn�t get in down lock.

Under manual control you have to watch how far you go on turning head.

Wire can also catch on depth collar, and it will cut the wire.

I�m ready to just run both units off transom sensor.

Most Terrova users mount their Humminbird transducers by running the transducer cable down the slot in the shaft.
