Caught ten last night up to five pounds. Midlake on east side, five foot of water. All on trigs and senkos in six foot of water and less.Lots of milfoil in area, which always seems to be the ticket out there.

Hey sorry to bump in, but i have not found any milfoil on this lake. I typically launch at isl dubois, where would I go from there to find some vegetation?

Thanks in advance

you've got to be kidding. There is milfoil 30 yards from where you are launching your boat.

Slow down, put on Polarized shades, tie on crank
you will find Millfoil.

I guess what I am used to from the north, is the milfoil flaoting all the way tot he surface, where there is a clearly defined weed line and break. All the weeds I will be looking for down here will be subsurface? If that is the case any time I catch some green with a deep crank I will start to switch it up.

you also have to remember the lake was 4 or 5 foot low several weeks ago. Its since filled up

grass is all over but try sand creek and state park cove....you'll see it on your depth finder pretty easily

good luck
