There seems to be a shortage of lady tournament anglers . I would like to fish c.a.s.t. , tbc , 2ofus but cant find a serius lady to put the time in to compete .

There are a few of us out there that love to fish, shop for fishing stuff and talk...non stop about fishing
However, if you're like me you have little kiddos and a husband who fishes numerous trails! Not very easy to work around three or four different trails. If anyone is interested in an open, let me know. Maybe I can make it work!

Most women probably havent been introduced to bass fishing. Most guys I know wouldnt allow them to go on their little getaways. I finally talked my wife in to bass fishing after years of no sucess. Now she loves it. My only problem with her going is she snatches all my good baits and catches more fish than me.

There are some girls out there, just keep looking! I grew up bass fishing and I actually was the one who had to beg my husband to buy a bass boat and shiny new expensive reels and rods

My brother really enthusiastic about bass fishing and in the recent past he bought a bass boat, he used to take me every time he goes for bass fishing. It has been a great experience for me so far. Bass fishing is an art it is not easy for everyone, need some special skills and interest. As a woman I really enjoy bass fishing.

I'm 56 and my wife is 55. That boat don't leave the house (with her knowing it) unless she is holding down the front of it. She don't care if its bream or redfish as long as I bait the hook and take it off. I tried hard to train her right but I guess I found out who trains who around here. I get to spend real good time with my best friend so I guess I will just keep baitin' and removin'

I am a bigger fishaholic than my hubby, but we are both fanatics. He fishes everyday and I work so it is weekends for me. i spend hours at BPS. Wish I could get our daughters hooked.

The only time I can't fish is when Friday Night Football starts. I used to be avid, daily fisher until son was born. Now he's almost out and I want ALL IN!

Wish I could get my wife to fish the couples tournaments.......when she is with me she catches more fish by accident than I catch on purpose. I think we would do pretty good if I just fished out of the back of the boat 100% of the time and even let her pick the spots we fish.....

It took 3 trips to convert my best friend from bass fishing to stripers, now she is hooked and rather striper fish than go anywhere. Also she loves salt water or fresh water, she even was a guide at Fork for several yrs. The best partner you could ever hope for. I am very blessed to say the least.

I was blessed. I married my wife 15 years ago and on our honey moon she wanted to go fishing! We have been fishing together ever since. We have a 5 year old daughter that goes with me on my practice fishes and man she will stand on back of boat casting and reeling more than most men I know. It is hard for my wife to get to fish a lot though and I understand above comments because I fish two trails and that makes it very hard for her to get time in. Keep looking. The right one will be there!

I can totally relate. I couldn't get my wife to fish with me when we first got married. She would go with me and read or layout on the front part of the boat to tan. I think she got tired of me catching all the fish so she really started to get into the whole fishing thing. I still have to tie her lures on but she can take the fish off all by herself. I couldn't ask for a better fishing buddy.

My son and my best friend are never reliable when it's time to go fishing. My wife on the other hand nags me about going to the lake all the time. She checks the weather to see if we can go to the lake on the weekends. I tried to go fishing without her one time last year and she sure wasn't happy with me about that. Things sure have changed over the 9 years we've been married. I could hardly get her to go with me back then and now I better not even try to go without her or else... For years we have always done well going to Cedar Creek Lake but for some reason last year was really tough. We caught nothing a couple of times and I think the best trip we had we only caught 12 sandbass. I hope this year is better so she will stay excited about going fishing. She did catch this nice bass on one of our trips and I caught a 16 pound catfish on a different trip. In 2013, I took my wife, my son, and my son's girlfriend fishing and we caught 97 sandbass in 4 hours. The only bad part was that I spent almost 2 hours cleaning all the fish while they left to get ice cream.

You have to be patient teaching them. I got my wife hooked on a ledge in the summertime. Fast and furious action with big fish. If you try to start out flipping you'll probably you increase your chances of getting frustrated and losing your patients. I spend a lot of time in we'd open water so everyone in the family can fish easily

Grew up fishing mostly sac-au-lait in Louisiana, but now getting in to bass in TX. My husband doesn't fish, so hard to justify getting a bass boat (did finally get a little inflatable with trolling motor). My son (12) will fish with me, but I usually bank fish alone or with my husband's friends that take pity on me. I'm in the Dallas area and looking for other lady anglers.

Don't tell my wife that, usually beats me. Just wish I could get her to take out the boat by herself if I'm not here. Living here on the lake all she has to do is press a button but she will not drive it on her on.

I love to fish so much that I started a bass club at Denton High School. This is our second year. Looks like we will have 3 teams maybe 4. Sure could use the practice myself.

No women? Wrong!!! When my husband went to Africa some years ago, he gave me $50 to spend at a craft show while he was gone. Two weeks later, I picked him up at DFW, and he asked what I bought at the show... As we were coming up our street, he could see the red cover on a Ranger bass rig sitting right in front of our house. You could probably hear the screaming for miles. Heh heh... But he got over that.

We bass fished (for fun) Ray Roberts for several years, until arthritis and sun sensitivity set in, then looked over in the trees and noticed people hauling in Crappie like mad. We fished that boat to death. Nothing better than fried Crappie right out of the lake. Night fishing is great fun!

Getting a new boat in 2 weeks. Need to find out how to use the new electronics...

My wife will chunk a jelly worm with the best of them. We need to go again but it will be with a guide. Wouldn't want a boat now, just too much to handle.

There is a club that only fishes Lake Fork on Thursdays daytime that fishes friendly, always has two angler in the boat and doesn't have anything against "lady anglers". Boater or co-angler. No teams, draw style. Slots count.

I had never been fishing before I met my partner 20 years ago and he turned me on to it immediately. Now my hardest concentration is saved for working a fluke along dock posts. I took my daughter and her two daughters bass fishing and they loved it. I guess we have it in our blood.

My wife can out fish most men. Many will get to see it first hand as she is starting back tournament fishing in 2021 (BFLs, Opens & LBAA, etc.) I teach her the golf swing and she teaches me how to catch the toads. Works well for us!

My wife doesn’t fish but she does like the Bob Timberland clothing at the BPS. Win win for me but sometimes her bill is bigger than mine LOL.
