In case some of you don't remember, a couple of years ago I gave out the locations (Exact GPS) for all the 53 Corp's brushpiles at Ray Roberts.
I still give those away (Free) to anyone that wants them. Just send me an e-mail (NOT a PM) and I will reply with an attached file. Indicate Lowrance or Humminbird file wanted.

I wonder how longer some of those bigger piles will last before rotting away.
They have to be going on what twenty years old?
How long can those piles last?
A Texian is just a regular person way out on a limb

what is the primary species of timber there? Cedar, bois di arcs, ect, timber can last 75, 100 years, maybe more. There cedars in a lake near me that have been there since the 50s when they flooded the lake, and they are still strong and hard as a frozen turkey neck. Im sure they will be there many more years.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Most of the COE piles are still there but the others have deteriorated.

Did you have to go out of your way and personally track down every single one or is there a way to find information like this from the COE? I'm interested in researching some of the lakes I go to if it's some kind of list from the COE.
Either way thanks for the information.

The maps have some of the locations on them but I found them very inaccurate. I visited every one and got the correct GPS data.
