The Ray Hubbard Bass Club had our third tournament of 2012 last Saturday March 10th at Lake Bonham. We had cold temperatures and a threat of rain all day. The wind wasn't too bad however. We set a new record for a members only tournament with 26 boats! 14 boats weighed limits. Thanks to everyone that came out. Here are the full results.  SnakeEyes was working the scales as usual.  Tom Blackshear and Tony Schnurr had a 16 pound limit.  Robert Oleson and Jeff Cartwright had a nice limit anchored by the 6.78 that Jeff is holding.  Steve Bowlby fished solo and had a 17 pound limit.  Shawn and Alec Castonguay had another impressive showing with an 18.04 limit.  Second and third place were separated by .01 pounds! Third was Jake Baker and John Bruner with 19.29 that included an 8.00 pound kicker  Second place went to RHBC veterans Vince Burt and Mark Werner with 5 for 19.30.  Getting their first ever win were Shawn Garber and David Taylor with a monster bag of 5 for 23.66!  Shawn Garber had big fish for the tournament with this 8.36 toad.  Next up in April is lake Lewisville. Before you all groan, I think we will be hitting it at the right time.  April 14th for that tournament. Come out and join us and get in on the fun!

Those sacks were amazing! Most of those fish were females ready for the spawn.
Lake Lewisville just might have some.club record sacks weighed in...... Looking forward to it!
