I would have to say Lake Palestine, but I am bias lol I live on it! I hear they're going to build a boardwalk at Coffee City. That will be an awesome addition to the area.

I'm game whenever you wanna go!!! Gonna have to restock the Hittman jigs before we go. Maybe get some made w/ that special TWKN hook for the big ins. I'll be posting more now that I have the new iPhone 4s. Here's a couple jigs that will bring out the pigs in any clear lake. Ex. TWKN, fork, and lavon.  Here's What I'd have on today after the rain.

There is one lake that I haven't seen nobody mention. COOPER! Unbelievable crappie lake. Size and numbers.
At least when it has water in it. Lol

If you spend 2 hourd driving past a "good" lake, that is 2 hours you could spend fishing..

i didnt see whitney on the list where ive caught some barn door slabs...but living at fork i cant see wasting time fishing any other lake....IMO

Haven't been there in years but Aquilla was at one time a beast for slabs. Those big brushpiles held a ton of big crappie and an occasional bass.

I ate an crappie that is just over the 10In and well it tasted good!
