This is my 3rd year fishing this lake and I can't believe the number of boats on the lake this year. State Park ramp was so crowded by 8am yesterday, you literally had to park on the point beside the ramp channel. Janet Napolitano was at the dam so you couldn't fish anywhere near the dam or government cove until after 11am. Tiger was so full of boats that there was a boat on every point, hump, rock or twig sticking up out of the water. I talked to several folks and while there were "some" fish being caught, they weren't catching the numbers like we did last year.

I didn't do too bad. I didn't catch anything real big, a few 2's and 3's and not many of those. I did catch an 8.4 and got one up to the boat that I believe I could have put both fists in its mouth, but when he saw me he took my DD22 with him to the bottom. All in all a very slow day for me on Falcon.

When I got back to the ramp at 3:30pm, there were even more trailers than when I went out. I have never seen this much pressure put on a lake and I believe, because of it this lake is/has shut down to numbers of fish hitting anything that moves. This happened to a smaller lake back in Missouri about 15 years ago and it took several years for the fish not to be spooky. I never got to fish it at that time, but got my info from a very good friend that fished it all the time. I live on that lake now and it can be very tough to catch big bass on.

I just hope and pray that doesn't happen to Falcon. Some of you wanted a truthful fishing report so here it is.

Roll up in an old Jon boat with a ski mask on and watch those boats start moving quickly.

Like the John Boat idea. Pull in, lay down about 300 yards of trot lines, about 10 Clorox jugs, and set up shop right in the middle of em.

That's exactly right Fouz. I guess if we were down there we wouldn't even notice.

That's it. My first stop Sunday will be at the church. And I might just say a prayer before we get started, too. And I just might preach to the congregation while I'm there. Before it's over, I'll be baptizing them 10 lbers......one at a time!!

Tell me again how many 1,000's of acres Falcon is and how many ramps were overcrowded? Geez, on Fork, if you don't get there early in the spring, you might be parking 1/2 mile down the fm road.

You're going to have a loooooong walk to get to the Church at Old Guerrero.

Hey, the good news is the only crowded ramps are on the Texas side of the lake, or so I'm told.
