That's great Roddy, wish that were true with the ponds I fish. Last year at this time I was tearing 'em up in these ponds. This year they seem to be devoid of fish entirely. No movement even with Blue Gill which usually are in the shallows all the time.

I went out to RO yesterday for an hour or so. No luck, but last week I caught a three pound chunk there. I went to my ol standby afterwards and caught 5 for total weight of 12 pounds all of which were released to catch another day.

I hear ya!! We have been hitting 6 large tanks with Walmart worms and doing great on bream.

Already had one fish fry and need to fillet a mess for another.

I caught 18 palm-size gills from a single downed cottonwood trunk. Will go back there in a day or two!

Chuck:)

Texas Sensation, go to Google local http://local.google.com/local then cut and paste this to the search bar, 32.593576,-97.37998 and press search button. In the upper right hand corner of the map there are three buttons, hit hybrid button .There is alot water around you. There is a pond off of W.Cleburn Crowley rd. on the east side of the road. If the power line road is not posted,,, there is a good sized pond back there. Let us know...

I drive a black nissan frontier with tool box. I usually throw a top water(buzz bait or popper) on the end closer to the drainage hole on the back end of the pond i have been using a broken minnow and a rubber 2 inch minnow. I'll try to give you a call this week.

Grandson and I hit 4 of our fav tanks this morning and did real good with curly tail worms and Rebel crawdad mini lure. Grandson caught 5 bass from a single stick-up one right after the other.

Nothing we caught went over 3 pounds, with most in the 1.5 to 2 pound range. Lots of fun.

We brought home 8 big bream grandson caught on Walmart worms.
