Heavy worm rod?

Really want a new heavy worm rod. I love Texas rig more than anything else. I need a rod for heavier (1/2 to 3/4) weights with jigs or big worms or creatures.
Thinking Falcon T7 Cara Amistad split grip 7'3" Heavy fast. I've used one before. I really liked it.
But, I've also been tempted by a new Loomis GL2. They're in the same ballpark in price. Might be willing to go GLX since this will be a go-to rod.
Any thoughts? Maybe another rod I haven't considered.

I agree about the Amistad. Last year buddy and I were fishing deep laid down trees using the same bait on braid and he was killing me. He was fishing the Amistad and I fishing an All Star Instinct. We swapped rods and I started catching fish. I could feel every little branch and tick.

Recently (Saturday) purchased a Dobyns 735 Champion Series and a 765 Champion Extreme at Oak Ridge.....excellent sensitivity, light and Dobyns has a great replacement warranty.

The Loomis GL2 is a dog. Heavy and unbalanced. The best combination of weight/sensitivity/strength would be hands down a Kistler ZBone. The Falcon is a sweet rod but not in the same class as the Kistler as far as sensitivity goes. I am a huge G Loomis fan and the NRX and GLX series rods while wonderfully sensitive are quite fragile for such a demanding application. The ZBone series use North Fork composites blanks (Gary Loomis current company) which are probably the best blanks currently produced by anyone anywhere. The Kistler LTA does not use a North Fork blank

Power Tackle PG 104 is what I've recently been using. They are very sensitive and as strong as they get!!

I agree on Trey being a good Christian.(Have yet to buy a Kistler.) Trey drove from Texas to Mississippi to attend the funeral of a friends mother. Randy introduced me to Trey, great guy. Scott Martin and his wife drove from Clewiston, FL. Very fine folks. Kistler makes some great rods form everything I read. The Kistler I want hasnt quite figured in my budget....I say quite meaning it will very soon.
