Pretty easy. I did it with a sawzall, the only thing is there was a lot of foam underneath, so it was a pain to pull the cut area out. It made a huge difference on the water with balance and control though.

Looks good. I have the same tray and it is a pretty easy install. I put some l e d's under my minn kota and linked them to my 360 light, so anytime that my lights are on, I can see my trolling motor. Here is what it looks like in the dark. Congrats on the new bling and that is a cute puppy!

Haha he was trying to help out but then passed out in the process! I like those led's I was thinking about doing something like that. Probably do it once it starts warming back up when I'll be on the lake at night.

Bogey that looks good! I was thinking about adding some blue water led's to my boat here pretty soon. Probably some red ones.

This tray looks lower than factory well?
Is it worth the effort to change?

I haven't been on a boat with a factory recessed pedal. I know that this tray is a lot bigger than most factory ones though but I like putting some plastics and line conditioner in the extra space

Z I have never really used line conditioner, I know that I need to, but just haven't yet. That is my scent. Have you had a chance to test her out yet?
I really like the tray, it seems a lot better for my back at the end of the day.

That's actually the same tray I put in my skeeter, I love it. Definately beats having to look like captian Morgan on the front of your boat all day. Lol

O ya made a huge difference to me with control and balance. And not doing the captain morgan stance is definitely a plus also haha! I used to say the same thing to my buddy every time I had my foot up in the air on the pedal trying not to fall in the lake with the wind
