I sat in the guard shack all night with two heaters and my coat
and was still cold. It was onlyn 32. Gonna be 10 degrees colder tonight but I'm gonna be in my comfy bed under a sleeping bag.

I decided to stay in this weekend. My son is fishing the A.B.A. on Palestine as a Co-Angler. He drew my first tournament partner from years ago.

We need this cold to kill of the bugs and weeds, so you won't hear me complaining...I can escape from the cold, it's the 110 degree days I'm dreading. We have more of those and the heat gets into everything.

LSS, I was just going to post that those who said we need a good hard freeze to kill the bugs are getting their wish the next few days.

That is one thing I remember from childhood. Not only did they want the hard freeze to kill insects and their eggs, but they thought it would kill viruses like the flu.

The definition of "wind chill" is the apparent temperature on exposed flesh.

So the solution is simple.....don't go outside naked.

There, that was easy.
