I call bull on women being turned on by gay men. I think women think gay men are "safe" escorts, lunch friend, or after work drink friend who will not be hitting on them after a couple of drinks. I have worked with a few gay men and they are usually a lot of fun and have a great sense of humor.

A woman would have to be an utter fool to be romantically interested in a gay man. There may be a few women who are attracted to gay men, but they have to have serious issues.

This is totally different from the women who just date married men because they are "safe" from forming a committed relationship. If she succeeds in getting the man to leave his marriage, she immediately loses interest in him and runs.

Women aren't sexually attracted to gay men. They like them because they feel an equality between them and a reversal of gender roles.

being in the creative industry for so long, i've been around a ton of gay guys. i even worked for a small design firm where i was the only straight person there and was eventually discriminated against because i was a straight female - except by one guy (who i had no idea was gay because he wasn't a flamer and never discussed his personal life...we did get along well and i have great respect for him as a technical artist and person).

i can honestly say i don't care being around gay guys that are "on fiyyah" - it irritates me. i don't care about the latest fashion/trends, i hate to shop/spend money on b.s. or layer up my body with tons of makeup or hair-styling products. i like to fish, hunt, camp, cook, wear cozy clothes and take care of my man, who loves me just the way i am.

not to sound derogatory, but you won't find a fag hag here.

I honestly couldn't care less. Anybody being too much of an attention w^junkie just gets dismissed. I am not going to give anybody special treatment in either direction based solely on whether they like sausage or pie. I you act like a sensible, rational adult, then that's how I will treat you. If you act like a child, well, ditto. I have no patience for idiots.
