Just made the Deep 6 I got from Jed. Have to say this is some great sauce and it matches his description below. Has a great flavor and a good little kick after a couple seconds. Sauce has a great color too. Just opening up the spice package and taking a deep wiff I could tell this was going to be good. It has a great blend of flavors.
As far as the kit go's. Very easy to make. Jed sends you the spices and the instructions on how to cook it. Took about 15 minutes of so to make a quart of sauce. His instructions say to add the spices slowly and wisk to get a smooth texture. What I did is cut a corner off the bottom of the bag and held it over the pot. It poured in like an hour glass and worked great.
My wife tasted it and thought the flavor was terrific, but the "kick" was just a tad to much for her. Though she thinks a Bell Pepper is spicy.
And she has a sweet tooth. She wants me to order the Keller's Killer Sweet she really wants to try that.
Overall this BBQ Sauce and DIY Kit gets an A+. I have the Afterburner too and will probably make it on Sunday.
