I agree, Fouz. Most modern rifles can shoot close to that, depending upon the ammo and shooter. I have rifles that "prefer" certain rounds. For instance an old 700 BDL in 270/win that I gave my son LOVES anything with Nosler ballistic tips. ( usually Federal premium ammo or hand loads) It'll drive tacks at 275 yds. However, the same ammo in other rifles I own isnt so great.

You must frequent the THF. Nope. Just done a lot of benchrest, offhand, prone and standing shooting of big bore rifles. Since I was a kid. I'm 51 now and probably shoot 1,000-1,500 rounds/year practicing. I'd be glad to meet you at a range some day and do some shooting. I'll bet you can shoot .50 MOA at 100 yds out of any of several different rifles I have. I just happen to have a range membership in Del Rio and on weekends if they ain't busy I can use the BP range. How are ya with handguns? When can I expect you to visit Amistad?
