Already there I'm sure. You cant depend on word of mouth because by the time word gets out it's usually already to late. You need to go and find out and keep a log book for a few years then you will always be able to look back on years past and go off of the dates and patterns will almost always be within days of previous years. Good luck

I was on Navarro Mills yesterday. Didn't find any fish in the creeks yet. A few on the point next to Oak Park, 12 feet of water. More on the dam, 4 feet off the bottom in 13 to 16 feet of water. Nothing of any great size. Mostly throwbacks. The creeks are still real muddy.

Still too early for the creek spawn bite. Cold front tonight will hurt it BIG time. Maybe next weekend if it stays warm.

They are already in the creeks. I've had a friend that had to call the gamewarden because of some jackarse walking out of a creek with about 75. I know yo can catch in cedar creek, palestine and fork in creeks.Been catching limits in less than 25 minutes. 56 to 58 degrees is ideal. Last week the temps in the back of some of the creeks were 53-56.Always try se a boat if possible.

The dogwoods around here have been bloomed for a couple of weeks now. Crazy year.

Been shallow for a couple weeks around the house. Fish may be different in yalls neck of the woods but I would start checking every chance you get.
